A long-time member of our parent organization (the TCAAF - Turks and Caicos AIDS Awareness Foundation), Terry recently made the jump to the Board of Directors of the Youth Foundation as well. In addition to running Hemmingway's, the restaurant attached to the Sands Grace Bay Resort, Terry works tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of the Centre so that the youth can have the best experience possible.

Candie Watkins was born and raised in California, USA.  She has 15 years of experience in public relations and marketing communications and is currently the Director of Operations for a company here in TCI. She has lived on the island for the past 10 years and continually works to help with the development of the island's youth. Candice also sits on the board of the Provo Children's Home.

Director - Roxann Wake-Forbes
Having spent many years in the UK studing Psychology, Roxann returned home to work with the Ministry of Health & Human Services as Psychologist specializing in the development of children and adolescents. After almost three years in post Roxann began working at the centre as the Director and also provides private counseling services. Roxann sits on many committees on the island mostly related to the safety and development of youth and gives countless hours to these causes.

Director - Bridgette Thomas
Bridgette relocated to Turks and Caicos Islands in July 2007. After working with a private company for two years, she started her own HR consulting firm, BNC Consulting Group. In addition to serving as a Director with ECGYC, she also volunteers her time as co-founder of the Girls Club, a program designed to teach adolescent girls the values of self-confidence, self-esteem, self-respect and leadership.

Chief Advisor - Edward C. Gartland
Aged 73 years old, born in 1936 in the USA of Irish parents. For the past 40 years I have been involved in the exploration, drilling and production of oil and gas from the sea in many parts of the world including the UK, Norway, the Middle East, South America, Mexico and the USA. He chose the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands and built my first home in Providenciales, Turtle Cove area in 1985 and has lived in "Provo" since that time.
Edward has 4 children and 11 grandchildren in whom he takes much pride and enjoys activities with his family, community events, having friends from many parts of the world to visit in Provo and continuing to stay involved with his consulting business.

Chief Advisor - Honorable Galmo Williams
Before becoming a Minister of the Turks and Caicos government (and most recently, leaders of the PNP party), Hon. Williams was a successful businessman on Providenciales. He also created the Turks and Caicos AIDS Awareness Foundation, in hopes fighting the disease through prevention. In this vein, the Youth Centre came to light, establishing the first teen oriented-facility in the TCI that provides a variety of positive, life-enhancing programs to help youth make healthy life decisions.

Chief Advisor - Peter Kerrigan
Originally from Northern Ireland Peter has been living and working in TCI since 1999. With 18 years of consultancy experience he now runs his own structural engineering firm, EDS Ltd, here in TCI. A devoted philanthropist, Peter has been essential to the development and construction of the Youth Centre, as well as a number of Children's Homes in Provo, Rwands and Haiti.
