Black History Month Trivia Quiz 2011
In honor of Black History Month, the Youth Centre hosted a Trivia Quiz between the local high schools. Maranatha, British West Indies Collegiate, Clement Howell, Wesley Methodist and TCI Middle School competed for the title, answering questions related to the theme. The participants and teachers did an excellent job in their preparation and amazed those watching at their ability to retain information. After three rounds British West Indies Collegiate came in first place closely followed by Clement Howell who took second place. The event allowed the youth from the centre to showcase their talents with dancing and singing intermittent the rounds. A big thanks to our judges Dr. Carlton Mills, Ms. Angela Musgrove and Ms. Bianca O'Neil from First Caribbean. This first year event will definitely become an annual event!!
